About Hyatt Regency Cairo West
Hyatt Regency Cairo West opened in September 2021 inside the gated Pyramids Heights Business Park, at kilometre 22 of the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road between Giza and Sheikh Zayed. The Grand Egyptian Museum is about 10 to 15 minutes away by car and the Giza pyramids about 20 minutes. Sphinx International Airport is roughly 11 km away, while Cairo International Airport and downtown Cairo can take an hour or more in traffic.
The hotel has 250 rooms, including 26 suites, over five floors. Pyramid View rooms, several suites and the pool terrace look east towards the pyramids, which appear as a distant outline on the horizon. Spa Rooms add an in-room sauna and jetted tub.
Barranco serves Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei dishes, Park Food Hall runs buffets and live cooking stations, and The Market is a deli with coffee to go. Drinks are served at the Lounge Bar and the Pool Bar, and The Plaza is an open-air shisha terrace. There is a large outdoor pool and a children's pool, Pure Spa with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and hammam, and a 24-hour gym. It works well for visitors to the museum and for business travellers heading to west Cairo. The Hyatt Centric Cairo West is next door.
