About Movenpick Royal Lily
Mövenpick MS Royal Lily is a five-star Nile cruise ship operated by Mövenpick, an Accor brand. It entered service at the end of 2007 as a sister ship to the Royal Lotus. It sails between Luxor and Aswan on four-night voyages from Luxor (Mondays) and three-night voyages from Aswan (Fridays), and longer seven-night combinations are also offered. Excursions include Karnak and Luxor temples, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple, Edfu, Kom Ombo, the High Dam and Philae.
The ship has 56 Deluxe Cabins of about 22 m² with twin or king beds and an en-suite shower room, plus four Royal Suites with a king bed, a separate living area and panoramic Nile views. All have individually controlled air-conditioning, TV, a minibar and a telephone.
The restaurant below the Main Deck serves buffets and set meals of international and Egyptian dishes, and it can cater for halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free diets. Afternoon tea is part of full board. A lounge bar with panoramic windows, a sun deck with loungers, shaded seating, a pool and a bar, and a small spa for massages round out life on board.
