Discover Egypt's Soul is a private 4-day, 3-night tour of Cairo with a full day in Alexandria. You visit the Citadel, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Khan El Khalili, the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then Alexandria's Qaitbay Citadel and Montazah gardens, travelling privately and staying at a 5-star Giza hotel.

Day1 Arrival & Cairo’s Cultural Treasures Night in Cairo Dinner

Welcome to Cairo! Upon arrival, our team will meet and assist you at the airport, and the trip begins in Egypt’s capital. Visit the majestic Mohamed Ali Mosque inside the Citadel, offering panoramic views over the city, then enjoy a delicious lunch at Mawlana, a well-known grill restaurant serving Middle Eastern food. Continue to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the first of its kind in Egypt and the Arab world, showcasing the richness of Egyptian history from prehistoric times to the present day. Afterwards, explore the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar with its colorful streets, traditional crafts, and unique atmosphere, and end the day with dinner at Skyrim, a rooftop restaurant with a view over the Cairo skyline.

After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a day exploring the wonders of ancient Egypt. Visit the famous Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, then have lunch at Abu Shakra and enjoy authentic Egyptian cuisine with beautiful pyramid views. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of ancient treasures and the famous collection of Tutankhamun. Afterwards, visit perfume and papyrus institutes to discover two of Egypt’s oldest traditional crafts. End the day with a luxurious dinner at Caviar Restaurant overlooking the Pyramids of Giza, then overnight in Cairo.

After breakfast, travel comfortably by private vehicle to Alexandria, the beautiful Pearl of the Mediterranean. Enjoy a seafood lunch at Antonio’s overlooking the sparkling sea, then visit two sites from the city’s long history, the Serapeum of Alexandria and Pompey’s Pillar, two remarkable symbols of Alexandria’s Greco-Roman past. Continue to the famous Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, before taking a relaxing walk through the royal gardens of Al Montazah Palace, once the summer residence of Egypt’s kings. Return to Cairo for dinner at New Silk Road Restaurant, where you can enjoy a variety of flavorful Asian and eastern dishes, followed by your overnight stay.
Day4 Farewell Egypt Breakfast

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.

Children policy

Infants up to 2 years old: free of charge.

Children from 2 to 5.99 years old: 25% of the adult price.

Children from 6 to 11.99 years old: 50% of the adult price.

Children from 12 years old: the adult price applies.

The children policy applies to children sharing their parents’ room (a maximum of one child per room). If the programme includes a flight, the child’s flight is charged.

Booking and payment

Only 25% of the total price is required on confirmation, to secure hotel rooms, cruise cabins, domestic flights and other travel services.

The rest can be paid up to two days before arrival, or in cash on arrival to your tour manager.

Tips during tours

Tipping for good service is customary in Egypt, though not mandatory. It is always appreciated and entirely at your discretion.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel, the following charges apply:

From the date of booking until 61 days before arrival: 15% of the total package price.

60 to 31 days before arrival: 35% of the total package price.

30 to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total package price.

14 to 1 days before arrival: 100% of the total package price.

Airline charges follow the airlines’ own terms and conditions, and refunds carry a 5% bank fee. Cancellation terms may differ for group bookings, by the time of booking, or for customised itineraries.

Force majeure

Your safety comes first. If an official “Do Not Travel” advisory is issued by a government or an airline for your destination, you can choose a full refund of the tour package or, in some cases, a travel credit for any of our destinations, applied to a future booking.

Only airline cancellation or change fees, under the airline’s terms, and bank charges on the deposit apply.

Where do I stay on the Cairo and Alexandria tour?

All three nights are in Cairo at a 5-star hotel, either Hyatt Regency Cairo West or Steigenberger Pyramids, with daily breakfast. Alexandria is visited as a full-day trip by private vehicle, and you return to Cairo the same evening, so there is no need to change hotels.

How do I get to Alexandria?

You travel from Cairo to Alexandria and back by private air-conditioned vehicle on day three. The day includes a seafood lunch at Antonio's, the Serapeum and Pompey's Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel on the site of the ancient Lighthouse, and a walk through the royal gardens of Al Montazah Palace, followed by dinner back in Cairo.

Which meals are included?

This tour is generous with meals. Day one includes lunch at Mawlana and dinner at Skyrim. Day two includes breakfast, lunch at Abu Shakra and dinner at Caviar Restaurant overlooking the Pyramids. Day three includes breakfast, lunch at Antonio's in Alexandria and dinner at New Silk Road. Day four includes breakfast before your airport transfer.

What is not included in the price?

The Egypt entry visa, personal expenses, optional tours not listed in the programme and tips are not included. Your flights to and from Cairo are also arranged by you, since the package begins with meet-and-assist at Cairo International Airport. Transfers, guiding, entrance fees and the listed meals are covered.

Can I extend this tour or travel with children?

Yes. It is a private package, so it can be customised or extended with more time in Cairo or other destinations in Egypt. Infants under 2 travel free. Children aged 2 to 5.99 pay 25% of the adult rate and children aged 6 to 11.99 pay 50%, provided they share their parents' room (maximum one child per room). From age 12 the adult rate applies.

How do I book?

Send us your travel dates and group size and we will price the trip for you. A 25% deposit on confirmation secures hotels and services; the balance is due up to two days before arrival, or in cash on arrival to your tour manager.
