About Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel
Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel stands on Yussif Afifi Road in Hurghada's southern resort strip, a short drive from Hurghada International Airport. The large, low-rise resort runs down to a private sandy beach on the Red Sea with a long jetty, and a water-sports and diving centre operates from the shore. Next to the gardens is the resort's own floodlit nine-hole, par-3 golf course with a putting and chipping green.
Following its renovation the hotel offers 400 suites only, ranging from Superior and Deluxe Suites to Family, Elite Family and View Suites and the Art Luxury and Art Loft categories, some with a private jacuzzi. The main buffet restaurant is Tamarind, and the resort map also lists Alexander's Restaurant, the Tanga Beach Restaurant, the Bwala Pool Restaurant, the Karibu Lobby Lounge, cafés, a pub and a beach bar.
The outdoor pool landscape has a lazy-river current channel, a heated section and a children's pool, while Pure Spa adds a heated indoor saltwater pool, hammam and sauna. A kids' club, sports courts, evening entertainment and seven meeting rooms make it a good fit for families, golfers and conference groups.
