Questions
Which hotels are used?
You stay three nights at Hyatt Regency Cairo West in Cairo with breakfast, two nights at Steigenberger Al Dau Beach in Hurghada on full board, and one night at Hilton Luxor before your transfer to Luxor Airport on the final day. All three are 5-star hotels, chosen so that each stage of the trip starts close to the sights: Giza, the Red Sea coast and the Nile in Luxor.
Is the paramotor flight or skydive over the Pyramids included?
No. The tandem paramotor flight or skydive over the Giza Plateau on day two is optional and not part of the package. The Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, lunch with pyramid views and the evening Nile dinner cruise are included for everyone.
Is the Luxor hot air balloon included?
Yes. The sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor on day seven is part of the programme, followed by the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon before your transfer to Luxor Airport. Balloon flights depend on the weather, so timing may be adjusted on the day.
What happens in Hurghada?
On day four you travel to Hurghada, check in and explore the marina, local markets and seafront, with dinner overlooking the Red Sea. Day five is a full-day boat trip with snorkelling or diving among the coral reefs and lunch served on board.
What is not included?
International flights, the Egypt entry visa, personal expenses, optional activities such as the paramotor flight or skydive, and tips are not included. Note that you depart from Luxor Airport, so plan your international flight out of Luxor or a connection from there.
How do I book, and can children join?
Send us your travel dates and group size and we will price the trip for you. A 25% deposit on confirmation secures hotels and services; the balance is due up to two days before arrival, or in cash on arrival to your tour manager. Infants under 2 travel free. Children aged 2 to 5.99 pay 25% of the adult rate and children aged 6 to 11.99 pay 50%, provided they share their parents' room (maximum one child per room). From age 12 the adult rate applies.
