Questions
Which hotels are used on this 4-day Cairo tour?
You choose between two levels. The Diamond option stays three nights at Marriott Mena House, and the Golden option stays three nights at Steigenberger Pyramids. Both are close to the Giza Plateau, and breakfast is included every morning. Tell us which you prefer when you request your price.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast is included daily at your hotel. Lunch is included on days two and three: at a traditional Egyptian restaurant on the pyramids day and at a local restaurant on the Old Cairo and Citadel day. Dinners are not included, so you are free to explore Cairo's restaurants in the evening.
Are flights and the Egypt visa included?
No. The package starts with meet-and-assist at Cairo International Airport, so you book your own flights to and from Cairo. The Egypt entry visa, personal expenses, optional tours and tips are also not included. Transfers, guiding, entrance fees, hotel nights and the listed meals are covered.
Is this a private tour, and can it be customised?
Yes. It is a private package with your own guide and air-conditioned vehicle, not a shared group coach. Because it is private, the programme can be adjusted or extended, for example by adding nights in Cairo or continuing to Luxor, Aswan or the Red Sea. Ask us when you send your dates.
Can children join, and how are they charged?
Infants under 2 travel free. Children aged 2 to 5.99 pay 25% of the adult rate and children aged 6 to 11.99 pay 50%, provided they share their parents' room (maximum one child per room). From age 12 the adult rate applies.
How do I book, and what is the cancellation policy?
Send us your travel dates and group size and we will price the trip for you. A 25% deposit on confirmation secures hotels and services; the balance is due up to two days before arrival, or in cash on arrival to your tour manager. Cancellation charges are 15% up to 61 days before arrival, 35% from 60 to 31 days, 50% from 30 to 15 days and 100% within 14 days.
