Steigenberger Nile Palace

Steigenberger Nile Palace is a large riverside hotel on Khaled Ibn El Walid Street, the hotel strip that runs south of the centre along Luxor's East Bank. Luxor Temple is about 1.3 km to the north and Karnak Temple a few kilometres further on. Luxor International Airport is roughly 10 km away. The hotel has its own boat landing on the Nile, and the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank is about 26 km away by road.

The hotel has 303 rooms and suites in buildings set around a palm-shaded pool terrace above the river, and many rooms look across the Nile to the Theban hills. There are four restaurants: NUBIA for buffets, El Tarboush for Lebanese food, Casa di Napoli for Italian dishes and a Thai restaurant. Drinks are served at the Nile Bar and Lounge and the Saloon Bar, and the Tropicana snack bar is by the pool.

Facilities include a heated outdoor pool with a separate children's pool, and a spa with a sauna, steam room and massage. There is also a gym and a tennis court on the roof. With eleven meeting rooms, the hotel handles conferences and large groups, and it is also a comfortable sightseeing base for couples and families.
