Are domestic flights included?
Yes. The flights from Cairo to Aswan and from Aswan to Sharm El Sheikh are included, and private air-conditioned transport covers the road sections to St. Catherine and Dahab. The tour ends with a transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport. International flights and the Egypt visa are not included, and children's airfare is charged.
How demanding is the Mount Sinai hike?
The climb starts before dawn so that you reach the summit of Mount Sinai for sunrise over the surrounding mountains. The ascent is on foot and in darkness, so comfortable walking shoes and warm layers are sensible. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, tell us when booking and we will discuss alternatives.
Do I have to take part in the meditation sessions?
No. The spiritual and meditation sessions, including the sunrise meditation at the Pyramids, the Nile meditation in Aswan and the starlit session in St. Catherine, are included but participation is optional. The sunset yoga in Dahab is also optional. You can simply enjoy the sites and scenery.
Which meals are included?
Lunch and dinner are included on day one, and breakfast, lunch and dinner from day two through day six. Highlights include dinners overlooking the Nile in Cairo, a traditional Bedouin dinner in the Sinai desert and dinner by the beach in Dahab.
How do I book, and can the programme be adjusted?
The tour is private and can be adjusted or extended, for example with more time in Dahab. Send us your travel dates and group size and we will price the trip for you. A 25% deposit on confirmation secures hotels and services; the balance is due up to two days before arrival, or in cash on arrival to your tour manager.
